Amirdrassil Race to World First Day 4 Recap - Mythic Smolderon Defeated, Raid Comps, Technical Difficulties

The Amirdrassil Race to World First has officially begun! Today's Daily Recap video starts off with Smolderon's demise at the hands of <Liquid>, who took the boss down after 57 pulls of brutal progression. This kill, at the end of their raid night, allowed them to get started on some off stream Tindral experimentation which is always a very valuable bonus in the Race to World First, and sets them up as the frontrunners going into the final two bosses, though of course there could still be hundreds of pulls packed into those last two bosses!
Tindral has turned out to be quite the challenging encounter, with its intensity buffed massively from PTR causing it to spam abilities and leading to nasty overlaps pretty much every few seconds. Liquid are making some slow progress through the start of the fight, though they were hindered briefly by a bug that required them to soft reset the instance, during which time they got some M+ done.
Echo also ran into some technical difficulties after a frustrating progression plateau, reaching 5% on Smolderon before having a run of bad pulls that ended early in the fight, followed by their Holy Paladin disconnecting. They will need to kill that boss very quickly at the start of their next raid day to stay competitive in the race!
