Meh. They need to bring back the services discount. I totally missed it because I thought it would be up this week like literally all other Black Friday discounts but they took it off.
Sadly my issue with the gear store is it's really expensive to bring it into Canada. Then again the Gear Store seems insanely inflated anyways. $41 bucks for a water bottle hehe.
Why is that Alliance themed stuff Yellow and not Blue?Since when did it change to Red vs Yellow?
Have to admit the services discount was very easy to miss, it was only possible to notice by checking services cost daily in the in game shop, which only people who really can't wait do, or see it on bnet launcher, and it only lasted 3 days, no wowhead announcement or anything, and only saw a thread in the us forums saying the sale was about to end with only 2 comments, so went very unnoticed indeed.
Preordered one of the new Dragonflight pins with the blackfriday code on the gear store. Really wished they would up the clothes game though. Feels like it is just Horde/Alliance. Need some variety.
Make Dragonflight 80% off and Blizz will break player records. EZ
The pet/mount bundle is a really bad deal even at half off. If they had individual items on sale for $5 that'd be reasonable, but it's more than than and you have to pay for all the ones you don't want. No thanks.
eu gear shop only accepting credit card? Super bad
Shame J!nx doesn't have sizing for tall people at all. I have a 38 sleeve from the neck, and while they use a weird measuring thing for arms that still doesn't make up the ~ten inches missing. Ah well, the jacket looked subtle/nice but it is what it is. Guess that may be part of the reason they went out of business, make a clothing brand catered to gamers but then not add a big and tall size, though I appreciate the latter to the former.
Sweet, the World of Warcraft Women's Black Icon Joggers are FINALLY on sale for only $75. Just what I've been waiting for.
It makes me sad that J!nx is closing. I have so many wow hoodies from them. I bought a bunch a week or two ago so those will be nice gifts. Their hoodies were much higher quality than anything from blizzard directly. I’ll miss them.
The good news is the anniversary pet/mount bundle scales and only cost me $8 as I already had most of it.
I'm tempted by the Frostmourne, not going to lie. I've been staring at it and thinking about it, but after the shipping messes from the last company -- plus when I bought the Venthyr Pepe from the NEW store, it was forced into a box SO SMALL there is a hard crease in the hat which I'm hoping I can get to flatten out. (Still waits to be seen if it will ever flatten.) I don't want to put out the kind of money they're asking for the Frostmourne just to have it shipped via Crash And Bump Inc and arrive damaged. Even if it could be exchanged, I can't imagine the headache that would entail. Not to mention what everyone else has been saying too. The easily 40-50% markup which was put on everything when they switched to the new company (as seen clearly by the things which were available before AND now) has put me off buying almost anything there. When I saw the mail with the Alexstraza statue, my guess was $500-$600 maybe and that would have been a no-brainer for me. But $900? Trying to decide how enthusiastic I am and while I haven't said "no" yet, I'm likely not that enthusiastic.Lastly, I was very non-plussed as a customer when the Black Friday sale was announced as "site-wide" but with some exclusions and there was literally NO WHERE AT ALL in the e-mail or on the site where I could find a list of the exclusions. That is an irritating clickbait-feeling waste of time.So yeah. Here I am, a customer with a decent amount to potentially spend, but am so turned off by the online store -- prices AND experience -- Blizzard might not get any of said cash. I wonder if Blizzard knows that. (*shrug*)

NGL for all its problems, I miss the old blizzard gear site. At least stuff was affordable and diverse and they had great customer service anytime I had a problem. Nothing on the site is remotely reasonable for the lack quality and lack of quantity. I wish they'd get a new marketing manager who knew how color theory works and why mustard yellow, fluorescent blue, ketchup red, and grey (everything is grey!) is not attractive. The Warcraft Movie stuff from Weta really made the Warcraft iconic colors attractive.
Only issue i have with this is the headsets. People should know that the build quality isn't great on all arctis headsets, plastic piece that connects the headband to the earcup is known to crack at the connection site with the earcup and fall apart after a year or so (I had it happen to me with the 3 and someone i know with the 9x its all over reddit etc) Also if you like bass look elsewhere. I know its weird cause razor... but the razor viper mini is a steal if you like small lightweight mice and dont mind a cord however you can find it a little cheaper elsewhere currently. I personally didn't love the normal viper its a little to thin at the grip, i returned it. But mice are definitely personal preference so that's just my experience.
