And how about 5 less yards of radius for the hearts? y'know, the OTHER main reason you had to use a map? Like thanks for making p3 easier sure that's nice but wtf does this to for getting people progging it to p3
Those private aura changes , now bg map changes and log record changes ... sadly we gotta endure this till the end of this expansion when Blizz will come with the statement that "those changes made things worse for majority of lower end guilds , so we decided to lessen some of the restrictions". I can see how, many of the top end guilds gona come up with even weirder solutions to "deal" with those changes, which hopefully show Blizz that this "war of auras" aint gona lead to anything good.
This does nothing for the hearts btw. Which were the largest reason for people using the maps.
lol, this will not make the encounter any easier, the design is the problemwithout a functioning WA for the last phase in particular it will be a %^&*show
so literally nothing changed for p1 and p2 for what the overlay was need, jep good compendsate, does nothing for this XD
I would like to see the blizzard team clear the boss with these changes. Here's a hint, they can't. This isn't like rygelon where the portals always spawn in exactly the same place through the entire fight either, so they're asking players to memorize 2 to 4 different portal patterns and also the alternative patterns for when the boss positioning is off by a millimeter and everything spawns completely different. maybe they expect you to keep using the map, but you have to be a geometry god and count the tiles with your brain camera instead of just being able to look at a map and see where you are in the room. I could maybe see this being acceptable if instead of useless pings they made it so you can have individualized world markers instead of sharing them between the whole raid.

so they removed functionality of their in-game map overlay because people used a different overlay for the heart mechanic? These nerfs dont even address the problem in p1 and p2 lmfao is blizzard actually just completely sideways? This is now nerf # how many for this specific clown shoes fight? Is it really wroth all the dev time to private aura, change the in game map, change how logs work, just to justify 1 very bad boss mechanic moving forward? talk about a double down.
We should have a compensation DEFAULT UI for the fight to be playable without those WA instead of nerfs ...
