Black Rook Hold is the ancient keep of the Ravencrest family. It was carved out of a single black mountain, and its name comes from the tower which resembles the shape of the rook chess piece. In the War of the Ancients it served as the base for the night elf resistance and was commanded by Lord Kur'talos Ravencrest, who took in Illidan as his personal mage.

hmm besides those filler quest are there any others like story lore quest like the other dungeons have when going for pillars

not for pillars but just some kinda end of story lore quest

You can get stuck in here if you ask the NPC to be let out. You end up in a hallway, with two staircases, when you go to the top, the gate there is broken and you can't get out. You'll have to hearth or use your flightpath whistle (if you have one). Blizzard is aware of the issue:

So far this is what I've observed. Chests appear to only spawn one at a time, and can have several places it could spawn, some of which are easily missed because they are far away from bosses, and most groups will not explore. I've also noticed that sometimes they won't spawn at all. I will come back to this post when I find another spot.

*I will also include spots people post on, and will confirm with co-ords when I find them, if they don't post any. So that the locations are all together.

Are there any lead-in quests towards this dungeon?
I did Val'Sharah and the quest around the area with Jarod but nothing led me to the dungeon.

To be honest, Perc; the forts in Gettysburg PA are nothing compared to this 1000 sq km fortress.

Entrance is at 38/51. There is a red ribbon above the entrance and summoning stone with orange run to the left.

If you're farming this dungeon for transmog in patch 8.3 and beyond make sure not to kill Dantalionax quickly otherwise Lord Ravencrest's soul will not spawn or won't be clickable and won't port you back to the start of the instance, After Dantalionax appears wait a few seconds until Lord Ravencrest's soul is gone and then you can proceed to kill him.

The spiral stairs with the boulders rolling down keeps messing me up because the boulders knock me completely off the staircase.

The Amalgam of Souls – Immense soul energy was released when Gul'dan conducted the ritual to sever Illidan's soul from his body at Black Rook Hold. This energy brought the souls of the Ravencrest clan back to their ancestral home - and residual soul energy has merged them into a massive monstrosity.
Illysanna Ravencrest – The daughter of Lord Ravencrest, imprisoned for millennia in the Vault of the Wardens shortly after the War of Ancients, found herself free after Maiev released the demon hunters from their prison. Returning to her ancestral home, she has sacrificed everything - including her very soul - to defend what she could not during the War of the Ancients.
Smashspite the Hateful – A brutal, imposing Mo'arg Lieutenant, Smashspite the Hateful led the Legion's invasion of Black Rook Hold and commanded defense of the keep from the air via his colony of felbats.
Lord Kur'talos Ravencrest – Kur'talos Ravencrest, Lord of Black Rook Hold, was the commander of the Kal'dorei Resistance during the War of the Ancients until he was assassinated by Varo'then under the orders of Queen Aszhara. Millennia later, Gul'dan's foul soul magic has awoken Ravencrest's soul, and those of his ancestors, from their eternal repose. The Legion, seeking revenge, gleefully forced his soul into his body and mesmerized him, forcing him to eternally relive the horrors of the War of Ancients.
