Cata removed two things: The original continents, and hybrid talent builds. To me, that makes it a clear point where 'classic' wow ends. I don't think mop works though - In mop they castrated the talent system completely, and it took until dragonflight for them to reinstate it. And I suspect even 'mop-with-old-ek/kalimdor' is more work than we'd suspect and not going to happen, let alone mop-with-real-talent-trees.
I'd sooner expect classic outdoor timewalking or zidormi access in live wow.
Funny you'd say that because I actually miss the talent system of MoP. I know I'm in the minority but I don't like the talent system of DF. Way too complicated. I guess it's awesome if you play one, maybe three characters, but try to play 50 characters with such a system... it's impossible to keep up with all the talents and such. Nowadays, I just dismiss the "You have unspent talent points" dialog on all of my characters except my two mains. I don't even want to look at the thing, and the starter build stops at 60 so I cannot even let the game decide for me. Even if I did care to open the talent tree, since it's back to the pre-MoP system, "You have a new talent point" usually means something like "yeah, now I can get 3% crit more where I had 2% before, wooh". I truly don't understand why people like that system, but I assume it's because they like to min/max with one character for specific dungeons and such. Since I play like 50 chars and don't do current organized group content, there is no overlap between what I like and what this system offers. Again, I know I'm in the minority, but just to let you know that at least
some
people actually preferred the talent system of MoP rather than the one of DF.
And don't get me started on DF professions system. I had already given up in Legion when they introduced long quest lines and you had to do dungeons for it, but at least the system was the same as before so it was easy to understand. The DF professions ? Literally never seen something more overcomplicated for no reason in a video game.
Now, with that being said, I would be very hyped for Classic zones in retail wow via Zoridormi or anything. I like Classic zones for the nostalgia, but I do not hold the same level of nostalgia for the old character models.
you are t5he reason they made the system basic its not hard to google a talent build for any char easiest thing in al creation yet ppl like you are to lazy so you cry about how complicated it is and blizz as always dumbs it down to appease lazy ppl
profesiions are easy to ...agian its jsut lazyness all it takes is common sense to figure out how the professions work but i guess common sense isnt common anymore now a days...
