Such a cool cinematic. I love how Fyrakk starts to change when the Shadowflame starts to take over.
Absolutely loving having dynamic villains again! Jailer was pretty one note, to put it lightly.
Spoilers in the title...
Laying the ground work for yet another patented blizz redemption arc. At least this one looks to have a bit more put into it than just bam the person repents and is good now.
The voice work in this is phenomenal, especially for Fyrakk. The shifts in tone and emotion floored me. And Vyranoth is so real as the one who realizes that this thing is getting way out of her control.
OH MY (hes totally corrupted by the void ..) major internal conflict.. this is going to get good..
Vyranoth is still a villain, but the observers of the story can understand that her motivations are not fully malicious, more like freedom fighting. and to be fair, if she had to ALSO be locked up in the Vault of the Incarnates, then something is amiss. she does not want to rule all of Azeroth, rather wants the "heroic" titans to leave the planet alone bc lets be real, the titans were never saviours of this world and they have Constellars like Algalon and Rygelon whose only purpose is to literally press the purge button when told to.
"Fyrakk's parting comment is particularly interesting - it suggests the war plan is not just to burn Amirdrassil - but to claim its power."Would be ironic if Sylvanas comes back for the Forsaken heritage questline and another burning of a world tree happens....lol
I had a feeling she would start to have doubts about her allies. Both her and Alex are brood sisters, but their paths have diverged do to what had happened with the Titans. She was at least willing to entertain Alex with her presence and hear her out, but would not be accepting of her words. But that meeting seems to have swayed her ever so little and question about what they are doing. She was never evil to begin with, only wishing to return her people to what she believes was true freedom before the Titans. I have a feeling that Alex and the dragonflights will further change for the better and will end up teaming up with what remains of the Primalests to deal with her remaining two (or at minimum one) allies cause of the void which is influencing both of them. But this is just IMHO on what might be to come, but we will see cause you never know exactly will happen. I could be very wrong, and we will end up fighting and killing her for reason X,Y or Z.
Loved it, honestly I think Vyranoth will: 1) join our cause once she sees how her brothers have been consumed by the void or 2) she will sacrifice herself to save us or 3) kind of a curve ball: alexstraza will sacrifice herself in some way because she already feels regretful to her actions and blames herself for a lot of what went wrong with the dragonsEither way, its exciting to see where the story leads. I just hope that they wont destroy the world tree (again). Blizzcon will be exciting
I like that people think Vyranoth is good now, because she did the equivalent of slapping Fyrakk in the face when he was clearly losing it and defending herself when he lashed back. I don't know, should she have eaten the dude who clearly wasn't a threat? Should she have twirled her moustache harder?
