I like that they are very rare, most of them is literally bis in all build. So if it wasnt rare it would just kill build variety. But dont get me wrong, this is not a "chase item", its just a very good rare items; and i'm all for it.
People are forgetting the longevity of the game…everyone wants all of the items right now. They don’t want to play through the seasons or the max end game group levelling. People need to learn to slow down and stop speeding through content. Look how long it took them to make the game and people have now “hit cap” and want new stuff….just don’t speed through it and enjoy the game. Not everything has to be conquered in a week
If it is statistically impossible to chase an item within a 3 month season, they might as well not exist. Everyone who thinks this is "good" has been lobotomized, I'm afraid.
I want literally all items to be ultra rare except white loot. Getting a yellow should be the greatest day of your life.
I dont mind a carrot on a stick, but these items are more a carrot on a spaceship leaving the planet.
Apparently there are about 220,000 Ferraris that have ever been made. And the population of the world is about 8.04 billion. So that's one Ferrari per 36,549 people.Bliz has said D4 is their fastest selling game ever & their previous fastest selling game apparently did 3.7 million in the first week.So to be as rare as a Ferrari, there should've been about 101 of these items. They're not Ferrari rare. They're "I've walked on the moon" rare.At that point there's no point in these items existing. They were a waste of design time.
I like how the players with actual skill/weight are unhappy with the drop rates for the casual players and the other side are just people who want ratio.
Horrible article writing imo. Presenting a selection of takes from noted players in the space who spend their lives theory crafting/streaming/playing arpgs and then an opposed set of takes from people essentially unknown in the space, and going "well, the community seems undecided" is some intellectually dishonest bull&*!@ at best. Get better.
That dude that said he hasnt got a SoJ in D2 and compared it to the D4 ultra uniques is like peak D4 audience. They have literally no idea what they are talking about.
I like them rare. Keep it like it is.They are mostly really good and can be a big upgrade for a build but they are not "build defining", you can do really good without them so i don't get the issue.I find it funny to see Mathil on the list of the "not happy", i've put 2000 hours plus in PoE and i NEVER dropped a Headhunter, Mageblood or a Mirror of Kalandra... And i'm okay with it.
Too many wow players in Diablo.
“I’ve played D2 on and off since 2003 and still haven’t gotten a Stone of Jordan or Tyrael’s Might to drop”I’m sorry.. what? That sounds miserable. Nobody has that kind of time lmao
It should drop like every other "unique". And leveling to 100 should be like 10 times faster. I hope they will fix that in seasons.
Having very rare items in the game is totally fine, but these 6 specific ones are just way over the top. It's nearly impossible to get any of these in a full three month season cycle even if you play daily for 12h+. Even IF you find one it gets a "soft reset" with every new season, because lets be honest that the majority of players don't care for the eternal realm at all.To all the people arguing that POE or D2 had ultra rare items: Even if you never found one by youself, there was the possibility to trade everyhing and get your hands on something rare in another way.
If these items was required to beat the game then the drop rate should be changed however they are not. There are numerous people that already beat Uber Lilith and over time millions of characters will beat her without these. They are not required they are a trophy.
