I feel like there's a huge elephant in the room, in terms of the balance in Faction specific abilities. With Druids getting Windfury and Paladins getting tremor - There will be a massive, and i meanmassive - discrepancy in how good Alliance is contra Horde.Classic was never balanced to begin with, but giving THE iconic advantage of the Horde to theAlliance - it raises a lot of questions. What do Horde get in return that compensates? In addition to this, i feel like there is a lot that they are not telling us - esp. given the Dual Wieldrune for Shamans, but there is no Dual Wield talent in Classic, afaik - and the talent trees in thedemo are unchanged. So either they are giving DW baseline, or changing talents or making a second rune for DW?What about revamps to Crafting? Without addressing crafting recipies, most of them will justbe plain bad goldsinks as a means to an end - looking at you, Blacksmithing. And what about Longevity? What incentive is there to go back to BFD, if it's just a leveling raid? There is no mount to get there? But there is a world buff? So you're to run a level 25 raid for theWB weekly, or what? What about making Raids scale with your level? Keep them relevant - I mean, otherwise you arelegit just producing a Raid for the timespan of 1 Months content. That is not a worthy ratio ofeffort/reward on their part - outside of just taking easy trades of converting dungeons to raids.I don't see making a new Classic raid taking 1 month to produce - outside of it being really rushedor not thought out.And what about the original Classic raids? Most "current" raid content at 60, will not be a challengeAT ALL - if you are not only juiced up with WB's, which made them quite trivial to begin with, aside from Naxx - but also with Runes. They HAVE to address difficulty or Mechanics in some capacityto not make it too easy.Classic was never intended to be hard, it catered to the casuals - But i don't think it's the right moveto make it an absolute power fantasy. And with a 1 month cadence of Releases - they have to address the loot system. Getting upgrades inVanilla could easily take 6+ months for a single rare Weapon or item to drop. You literally won't getany of the upgrades with such a fast release cycle. It NEEDS to be addressed.
They're making a huge mistake to not even consider a mythic+ system for dungeons in cataclysm. I've been raid logging on my main for the entirety of wrath classic. Heroic+ would've completed uprooted this cadence. I don't know how the classic team looks at the enormous success of mythic+ in retail then looks at the dungeons in wrath/cata/mop and think "the classic community wouldn't like an endgame progression system besides raiding".
You should ask about WotLK servers, are they gonna progress with Cataclysm or we will have some servers to play WotLK forever.
be cool if they could make pala and shaman for the opposite factiondwarf shaman and undead pala = huge win
Damn bro these comments are stupid, they want retail features, mythic+ for some reason, a balanced pvp, is always that min/max mentality that makes the game so boring. And we aren't even on level cap, is just 25. I just wanna log in enjoy my hours at the game, after work, with my op class and get killed in ashenvale by another broken class. Cause you know is, F U N!
TL;DR: Thottbot then MMO-Chanpion and then Wowhead killed the "discovery" aspect of the game.Datamining is bad and slowly kills the video game industry, more news at 11.
@Blizzard, instead of putting weird spells provided by an enchant. Why don't you put the Cataclysm Glyph system instead ? Instead of getting a weird enchant you get a perma glyph in your glyph tab like Cataclysm.
Some of the questions are weird and unnecessary. No one needs new models from Retail and cross-faction in Classic. Why would you ask that? Come on
First time seeing an interview where the person answer with even more questions
