Honestly pictures don’t do this zone justice. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out after so many years of waiting.
Could have been an expansion honestly. Still looking forward to seeing it, hope there is an Elune/Winter Queen connection.

To be honest i think the zone looks pretty cool. And its a large zone as well. Plenty of sub-areas as per the labeled screenshots. That and it will be worth doing the world content for a while to collect the new transmog armor set and tints since those are awesome. Looking forward to it.
I can't wait to explore Zaralek caverns!
People were first saying it wasn't unique as they thought it would be, but remember that we already have templates for the Emerald Dream in game: Ardenweald is the shadow version of the Emerald Dream and Val'shara is the Azeroth mirror of the dream. So they are going to have some similarities.
I wonder if any pieces of the original emerald dream zone from vanilla made it in to the new one.
Now can we get some from someone who doesn't play with their graphics settings on low?

If you have prasinophobia, this zone WILL be hell. I sure hope you don't have that, because this is genuinely one of the nicer new zones they've pumped out in a while. Granted, it's just green Ardenweald, but if you look past Ardenweald's flaws, you will agree that it was a pretty nice zone overall. Emerald Dream is that; Ardenweald but better. It's about the same size as Korthia, maybe a little more, is easy to navigate with very few places that you can temporarily get stuck on or fall off of, and best of all, everything is actually spaced out fairly well. It's built with Dragonriding in mind too, as there's some nice hidden places that feel good to land on. While I wanted more from the Emerald Dream, this is definitely a decent start. It's miles better than Zaralek though, that's for sure.

Val'sharah 2.0. Just like Deepholm 2.0. As beautiful as these zones have been, they are incredibly uninspired.
Either the images are not good quality or they need to tone down the haze/smog/fog effects.
I don't think it looks bad... just nor really... emerald dreamy.... like the emerald nightmare ending zone. THAT was emerald dreamy. All green and foliage all over. This is just another (beutiful) dragon isles zone honestly... Why is there so much blue?
Can someone explain to me why the emerald dream has statues and buildings present? I thought the commonly accepted lore was that "The Emerald Dream represents how Azeroth would have been if intelligent beings had not altered its surface"https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Emerald_DreamBit puzzled. Why the flying trees if this is supposed to be Azeroth? Why the alien flora? That is besides that I think the entire zone looks boring and generic. Where is the flair of Ardenweald? This looks like "insert generic Asian MMO #143782".To me this patch is not shaping up to be worthy of a 20 euro resub, unfortunately.
