I hope this is just supplemental and not like "Hey here's a book that fixes plot holes and plot mistakes in the current expansion"
good , good lets get those books going , the game can not hold all this lore.
I think the word you are looking for in regard to the passage you posted in the title of this article is excerpt not extract .
I've admittedly held mixed feelings ever since the review since that I'm still sorting out my feelings on the expansion. However, this was a fun read.
It's pretty heavily hinted in the Dragonscale Expedition quest where we find Tyr's laboratory, that Tyr himself is responsible for creating the Incarnates, perhaps even Galakrond. He was experimenting on infusing primal dragons with primal elements. And what primal elements do we find in the Dragon Isles? Air (Raz), Frost (Vyranoth), Fire (Fyrakk), and Earth (Iridikron). Also, of course, decay (Galakrond) and Order (the Aspects). The way this is written tho seems to contradict all of that.
Is anyone else finding it really difficult to find the actual argument against the "Ordered" magic? The Elements are not nice on Azeroth, the lack of elemental spirit makes them malicious, chaotic and unruly, hence why the Elemental lords are basically all self-centred #$%^&*!s who warred with themselves before getting trounced by the Black Empire. Are we really supposed to believe anyone who isn't a complete idiot wouldn't understand this, and what the "Order" magic does is basically fix the flaws of Azeroth due to the emerging Titan Spirit? It feels like whoever started these plot threads knew basically nothing about WoW Lore and had a grand idea about these things they didn't understand.
Will we be seeing the Incarnates in their humanoid Visages forms, and if we do, will we see Raszageth's Visage? How would it compare to her kin (particularly between Vyranoth and Fyrakk)?
The time for Raszageth's visage form has passed, sadly.
Vynaloth saying Tyr failed to kill galakrond and needed the aspects is funny, because HE empowered them to beat galakrond, and he only intervened because they couldnt initially do it, and even then he carried the majority of that fight, so the aspects had most of the hard work done for them. Also someone needs to tell blizzard that azeroth was an old god and elemental hellscape before the titans came, where life was hard AF, so claiming a hellscape is paradise to dragons is weird.
"Order magic" is so horribly uncreative sounding and just embarrassing. Despite the overwhelming negative feedback that basically the entire plot of Shadowlands has, they're REALLY still pushing ahead with this absolute *!@#in' trashfire huh.It reminds me of something a 7th grader writing fanfiction of a property does. Danuser is just absolutely determined to stain his nasty greasy fingerprints all over Warcraft regardless of how bad people almost universally keep saying it is.Absolute delusion. This book could be a 10/10 masterpiece but the whole "Order" &*!@ automatically makes it awful.
