They are going to awaken the Titan Azeroth as a Dark Titan, we (heroes of the horde and alliance) will have failed together with the Aspects and other guardians. This will be in the last expansion of WoW 1.0, where we will find out that the light and Titans will easily destroy Azeroth (and us with it) to prevent the Dark Titan and the Void of winning. Eventually Nozdormu will have to send us back in time (different timeline) to start over and try to prevent the awakening of Azeroth by the Void --> WoW 2.0: everything reset and a similar but not exactly the same storyline. While remaining in the corrupted timeline to give us a chance, Nozdormu (weakened from sending us back) is defeated and corrupted by the void, thus resulting in Murozond (who will then use the timelines to stop us from rewriting the future)
Wondering if the broken heart could be Y'Shaarj's one. Although it seems nothing of it was left over once Garrosh was defeated, I'm sure Blizzard could find a reason to make it come back.I've always found the color schemes of the shas (reminiscent of Y'Shaarj) to be quite close to the infinite dragonflight ones, hence the potential link between them. That would put Xal'Atath as the Harbinger of Y'Shaarj, doing everything it can to rebirth him, and for example infusing the rests of its heart with Galakrond's essence could be a way to do it.That said I don't see what Iridikron has to gain from all this...
Whoever at blizzard is allowing this angle of writing into the lore really and I mean REALLY need to understand wows story only ever has been good when it is black and white, every single time they want to turn characters into this grey blob and they ruin them, remember BFA? Remember what happened last time they tried to do this? thats right sylvanas and every single character she touched got ruined, tyrande, malfurion, jaina, saurfang, anduin and the list goes on, like wtf does he mean the titans wont come? like no *!@# we know they're sitting up there guarding and imprisoning Sargeras, how about the dozens of titan disciples on earth doing nothing? oh we wont talk about them because thats just because blizzard cant wrtie for %^&* and just have all these super powerful demigods guarding empty raids and temples like ulduar and we all know this just ending with another old god showing up from beyond the void or however it works now and us stopping them and with a boat load of character ruining garbarge between now and then
I hope it has something to do with Yogg-saron, because he is well... literally right next to galakrond and is the main reason galakrond became so big.If they for some reason turn this into "oh its Y'shaarj's!" it wouldnt make sense in the sligtest as it would be a complete different continent.Though i cant really complain when it comes to old gods :D
WOW lore was at its best when it was written in primary colours and the villain was always on the box art. This drip-fed mystery box nonsense is tiresome.
Our dreams. Our song.
The outline in the portal is the same one as Azshara's original form illusion in the Legion quest. Not surprising that should would use illusion magic while she heals. She had Xal's dagger, so working with her would also be unsurprising.
I guess the question is, will the follow-up to this be 10.3? or 11.0? Are we done with Iridikron for this expansion? Kind of feels that way. 10.2 will be the tree and a storyline for the green dragons. We haven't had a red dragon story yet though right? Plus I assume whatever is going on with Tyr is going to wrap up this expansion. Oh right and the Aspects getting their powers back (or not).I'm convinced icy primal lady will sacrifice herself to snuff out fire boi and prevent him from destroying the world tree so that'll be the end of those two.
The shadow has a night elf model, not void elf.
really? It was fine when these were ptr posts but you just ruined the ending in a live post less than 48 hours after release. Not all of us had a chance to finish the dungeon yet.
Ho no, the Titans corrupted what Azeroth was supposed to be and remain, so I'm going to turn to the void to do exactly the same for myself.
I really hope Azeroth wakes up corrupted but if Azeroth does wake up I hope they destroy some of the planet and cause huge fractures like what happened with Argus because that’s supposed to happen when a world soul wakes up it greatly damages the planet it would be a good lore reason behind an old world revamp everyone wants
I'm loving all the interesting points this is raising. And I'm eager to see if Merithra can prove why she should be the new Green Dragonflight leader.
