Woah, big win for casuals!
what counts as world activity? a weekly quest or a world boss?
Liking these changes!
Does this mean we won't be able to get sockets or tertiary stats on our pvp gear anymore, would kinda suck but less RNG is good overall.
Let's hope PVP progression can be its own thing and not competing with PVE. I love the idea of being able to PVP and PVE in the same week and not having to choose. For world content taking the slot, this is very exciting for the prospective return of "challenging" world content that may require teamwork and/or determination to actually succeed. It's been a common complaint that world content is too easy and there's no danger.
Gut reaction is that this is a bad decision, but the more I think about it, having random tier pvp gear from the vault always felt pretty damn unfair if you didn't get any. As long as the conquest cap is significantly higher, this seems like an overall good change.
However, in terms of PvP, you could get parts of tier set from vault, which helped a lot in the beginning. not to mention the extra pvp parts during the first weeks and the possibility of getting weapons from the vault.just putting world content there and giving it a such low ilvl doesn't change anything
A big win for PVP'ers and casual players. An easy 100% win.
Thank. The Flaming. Stars.Good. My effort and time is worth every bit as much as those who raid or M+.So pleased.
Liking this very much!
Getting one less piece of pvp gear that could already be tier set is not a good thing. With the current limit on conquest this just means you dont need rated honor to get conquest gear, no need to do rated pvp to gear if you are not in a rush, so you can play less if you casually pvp, because progress in gearing was halved. The only positive is Great Vault gearing wont make chooseing Raid gear and PVP gear a decision, so my guild who raids wont feel Im hindering raid progress taking pvp gear out of the vault.
