I kinda expected Gul´dan to end up in the Maw.
Considering Denathrius' involvement with the burning legion that Illidan skin is mighty... I'm not certain ironic is quite the right word, but somewhere along the lines, haha.
but are we sure that Illidan is beefy enough to be Illidan? He's pretty beefy in WoW.

Winter King Malfurion is funny, but just genderswapping the Winter Queen feels kind of lazy compared to the others. Ignoring Purple Uther since he's actually canon, Gul'dan and Illidan don't resemble any of the established characters in Shadowlands, which makes them unique in design. Even if it's just giving Illidan a shirt, it still makes him stand out much more than his blue brother. Now, if they made Malfurion into a Drust variant, that would've been absurdly cool.
Can't believe Blizzard would oversexualize Illidan like this, gotta cover that chest or turn him into a fruit at least.

I know it's just a bit of fun and more of a mind experiment than anything else but ... Illidan's soul is now fully demonic. When he dies, his spirit goes to the twisting nether, not the Shadowlands :3

Gul'dan should really be in the maw yes. If he for whatever reason ended up in Maldraxxus, he would 100% have passed a long period under the hand of the Venthyr due to his many many many sins. At the same time, if Illidan dies and ends up in the Shadowlands, I am not sure his end-destination would be Revendreth. Altough he too would 100% have to go through the Venthyr process just like Kael'thas. Malfurion and Uther are O B V I O U S !
