Archmage Khadgar will be making lots of appearances again, and is listed with multiple subtitles: Kirin Tor, Leader of the Kirin Tor, and Sons of Lothar.

Bolvar Fordragon will be making an appearance as the Lich King.

Chen Stormstout has many appearances, as well as a few other visitors from Pandaria such as Aysa Cloudsinger Chen's brother Chon Po Stormstout, Taoshi, and even The Monkey King.

"Sure-Shot" Arnie - "Sure Shot" was one of Annie Oakley's nicknames, making this apparently a male version of her.

Gom Crabbar - Another WoW reference to Dune's Gom Jabbar. (See the old Jom Gabbar.)

There seem to be some characters returning from mists, such as the Dread Wastes rare Krol the Blade returning as Krol the Blade.

We'll once again see murlocs with NPCs like Crab Rider Grmlrml, Mrrklr, and Grrvrgull the Conqueror.

I don't think just having the client updated means you're in.
