So we're going to nerf the crushing depths significantly to address why people did the LOS trick right? And we're gonna nerf the damage of the jump for the everbloom mobs? Right? No? We're just gonna fix these tricks without addressing the WHY once again? Got it :)
The problem with the berserkers is that it ticks instantly when they land on u. we need more time before the 1st tick OR the damage reduced because 1 berserker is fine but most pulls have multiple and they only target ranged and i'm the only ranged in grp so get killed every time. Double jumped + instant ticks = ded. I try to watch nameplate timers but it's hard when theres 8 mobs in the pull and the berserker jumps are desynced.I'm an evoker and play with a ret pal & 2 melee.

I do NOT mind Bounding Whirl as long as that darn thing has at least one or even two secs time BEFORE it hits you. The reason being on high latency, you will end up taking at least two hits since the first one is instant as soon as it jumps on you and with latency before you even react and start moving, you are almost dead.It's the similar issue that was back in Season 1 with the Frost Bomb by Telash Greywing in The Azure Vault. Remember it used to instantly hit players and slow them down which would cause deaths with latency. They changed it to start ticking and add slow debuff on players after a sec or two of Frozen Ground spawned under you.
Agree with everyone on Bounding Whirl. The damage ticks too fast, people can’t avoid it and it does so huge damage - it feels broken. If you have 2 in a pull it’s very hard for people not to die.It doesn’t just suck for the ranged, but also the healers. It’s very stressful when there are mechanics that need healing in less than 1s. As for Crushing Depths the jury is still out for me, although I haven’t done it on a super high key yet so I’m sure people are pretty right about it. I realised it required too much healing when my instant cast regrowth as a Guardian Druid, which usually heals people for over half their health, barely dented the hps required to break it! 😮I do wonder if it will get easier when off healers know to help out with it.
Bounding Whirl in +20 as a 555 ilvl mage is cancer, was the only ranged so I got all the whirl. You get hit for like 450k (additional 300k if you don't run away after 1s), how the f i'm supposed to cast glacial spike lolWith like bad rng you get two jump with like 1s delay and take 900k.Without rop, blink it's like... very painful for no reason (at the same time you have the mob that put a dot on everyone hmmm so without any cd, you ded) .
