ah yes i cant wait to pay 90 euro once a year instead of every 2 years
Optimally i think an Eighteen month cyle for an expansion encompasing three seasons, two major patches, three raids, two additional zones. Anything less than that and we can declare that faster expansions is just a way of milking us to buy more boxed products.
I have bad feeling about this idea...
1 every 18 months to rake in the revenue from selling expansions. This game will get expansive.Gotta make that $68B back somehow.
I think 18 months is best. It's not too short so we can still get the same amount of content and also have enough options for breaks at points. And it's slightly faster than what we currently have
Given a choice between this, x.3 patches or me unsubbing for a Season every expack I'll take this one... even if it costs me more.
I have a very bad feeling that this "faster content" thing is bite them in the rear. Like over promising and raising expectations but won't be able to execute to what people are hyping themselves up for.
This will be 100% more expensive (literally) but yall acting like buying a game once a year instead of every two years is gonna financially ruin the playerbase are ridiculous
I dont really care about quantity so much. There is enough to do in WoW. What I want is quality: i want new feature/zones to work properly. I dont want to be the beta tester on live servers.
Just don't become Disney/Marvel please. Keep churning out lame, boring and similar content at much faster rate to the point where fans decide they had it enough and either slow down on eating those buffets or outright stop using your kitchen altogether.
Incomming A team and B team expansions like it was fortold!
People should see what is going on with destiny 2 and bungie. Especially considering how they've valued speed over quality. Then you see stuff like this and you get worried.
I'll be honest.I bank on having 2 years to complete an expansion, because as a casual player, it takes me that long. 18 months is probably doable, but anything less than that? You're just getting less content per expansion, because you can't legitimately expect people to cram in/complete 2 years of content in a year.So...if expansions come out more often than 18 months between they need to have less in them, and darn sure COST LESS to get.The 2-years-per-expansion system's worked just fine. Ain't broke. Don't fix it.
