They couldn't be bothered to update Neltharaku and Karynaku's models? Come on, guys. It can't be that hard to slap an ethereal filter over an updated model, can it?
The updated Netherwing are just beautiful! I hope we get those options for our new one, I like these so much more than the originals.

Ngl, got me teary, I love the netherwings so much and to see them survive this long and find a safe haven where they could probably have their energies stabilized is a happy ending imho, dragons in wow rarely get happy endings.
If the eggs are now produced on Azeroth free from the ambient twisting nether, I wonder if they will undergo more changes… or live longer
Now we all know the models are different because of rigging for dragonflying, but I would like to think that it's because the netherdrakes have evolved to grow the wing...claws/horns and patterns. While I do miss the original wings, I love the new additions like the chest stripes and different horns. Looking forward to beautifying mine!
Those old models are much better, why even touch them if you cant do it properly? god damn lazy ass Blizzard again.

Oh HELL yes, I love the Netherwing. I was hoping they'd get a nod in DF but didn't think we'd see them much beyond a name drop or the mount.

Man, can't wait till the Soul Eater Roost from Shadowlands comes in patch 15.2.5 and they finally use this model, except for limited galdiator dragons of this season ofc.
Lore wise they are all dead...Still lore gets rewritten so often and them becoming anti madness soup for malygos was dumb anyways
