Considering the WoW devs confirmed that Azeroth doesn't have any bigotry for sexuality I don't think the rainbows are for a pride month ( Since pride month started as a way to spit in the face of bigotry and to embrace who you are in a world that doesn't accept you. ) I think they're for Children's week. ( Unless they'll just be thrown up during the month of June as a little reminder )

The holiday stuff is one of the things I remember a lot when I was new and playing with friends. Feels nice to think they will update them all and add new feeling back to them all.
I love how, by far, the thing that is most likely is for those rainbows to be for Children's Week --- a holiday that has existed in this game since, what, BC? And yet. People will get ragey and upset because.....rainbows. Like, would a Pride event be cool? Absolutely. But it's not really likely to happen outside of fan-run events. And yet.Yet.
Two potentially new holidays. If it is a Pride event, I'm guessing they'll be subtle with it and make it a Festival of Rainbows thing that celebrates the diversity of people among the Horde and Alliance. Which we'll know outside of the game is about sexual orientation too. But definitely won't be the main theme ingame for a 12+ game that also has to sell worldwide.Still a nice gesture though. And I wonder what the Masquerade on will be like.

I think these cosmetics are used to keep us from noticing how OLD the environmental assets have become. Please, wipe WoW and start over!

At first, I was thinking, the rainbow stuff could be for a pride month event. But, it looks to cartoonish and childish for that. It could be for Children's Week like some others have suggested. Or, something new in spring or summer. I'm betting on Children's Week myself. The masquerade stuff could be for a Mardi Gras style event. But, it's probably just for Trial of Style.
