Now, the dragons received new models in DF, but they didn't resemble the old dragon models. This head does.

Should we expect further model updates for the dragons? In my opinion new new generic dragon models (not the mounts or aspects) are a little disappointing in their quality compared to other models.Comment by johntravolta342Maybe a slight old world refresh with new hd assets but I wouldn't really expect revamp on the Cataclysm level. I feel like people who are hoping for that are just setting themselves up for disappointment. That would seem an opportune time for Blizzard to revamp WoW's original continents, the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor, much in the way it did with 2010's Cataclysm expansion. Hazzikostas said an old world revamp is something that is "likely to happen" in the future, but that the team would learn lessons from Cataclysm, which was criticized for essentially deleting parts of 2004-era WoW, and use modern solutions to preserve currently existing pieces of the game were it to become a reality.

"We are definitely open to it at some point," Hazzikostas said.
