That makes me think AQ, Silithus, and a rumor of Silithus collapsing to reveal some underground network (that leads to the Void?).

I'd much rather blizzard implement more weapons/gear that involved these lengthy processes to obtain. Not like the evoker legendary, but rather a long quest chain that's easily to start, but takes time to complete.

The items have no attachments to specific lore or dungeons or areas, they're just sold at a vendor.
