best tournament ive ever watched i didnt even follow the leveling period that much and still was captivated by the qualifiers and finalsggs
Maybe next time, don't put the winner of the tournament in the title/thumbnail? I was excited to sit down and watch the whole thing with a friend when we both had free time together, but I guess there's no point anymore. Thanks.

What a shock, the players given the most help got to the finals, no one is denying theyre great players, but its like giving Christinao Ronaldo and Messi an open goal, theyre never gonna miss. This is all the entire tournament was, a charade and illusion of having a chance. No random dude was ever gonna win in a game like classic wow which heavily relies on help and knowing people. When u win and u played less than 30-40% than every other player in the tournament because u got boosted to 60 within 3 days, fed every possible item, and then went off to have fun in las vegas for 1+ week. Actually kinda hilarious. Nothing about this tournament was a challange outside of the duels and even then theyre a free win if ure getting items no one else besides 1--2 other guy shas a shot of getting, He got sageblade just like Ziqo did from 1 person on alliance side with the recipe, literally only 1 guy was willing to help them both out. Imagine getting an item no one else has access to that also decreases resiststance baseline by 10. Not to mention not having to farm anything at all because gold is a non issue, even the HC aspect is a non issue because it was trivialised by having 4 60s run around mob tagging and healing u. U basically got 2 weeks of preparing soley for duels and how they play out, dont need to worry about anything else at all, its a massive help when the end goal is to win ur duels. The most apparent factor if u competed usrself is that u knew u werent gonna be able to afford the consumes and profession items when theres a dude making a living out of scamming every competitor on the server that isnt a streamer. Flask of the titans for 130+g per flask, shadow reflecter 300+ gold. U werent getting any of these items, u would need over 700g for flasks alone, Unless ure buying gold of g2g and technically " cheating " because its against ToS u didnt have a chance, i knew this after my first duels when everyone else had a flask and i didnt, because u also have to buy spell rank books if ure not lucky enough to get them traded to u or sent in mailbox, some of which sells for hundreds of golds, anyone here that played classic knows making 2000g in 1 ish week is pretty unrealistic especially on HC and then also having to gear at the same time, figure out how to play ur duels, have time to actually live like a normal person aswell.Whatever u might think about ziqo, he was atleast on day in and day out, put in a lot of time, even tho he got a massive amount of help. I can atleast respect someone that did put real time in. None the less, not regulating trading and such is all on OTK, hope it bites them in the future, it made the tournament a literal joke and impossible to win for someone without connections no matter how good u are. People might be under the illusioon that "anyone that is good enough can win" thats just not the case, both Ziqo and Snutz got great brackets, which wasnt surprising tbh. Re do this tournament make it SSF and u wont see both of them in the finals. There a massive difference between getting help and not getting help, in so many ways, it would be too long to spell out here every possible advantage. Imagine both of them having 1.5 weeks at 60 because they didnt get a leveling boost, and then having to sit and farm AGM, Tidal on their own, their gold, their professions, xD wouldve been great to see. Just like 99% of the guild did. Shout out to every person that tried on their own, massive amount of respect to u, sadly were not free from capitalism even in a video game.
