A mini-meta will develop and a hand full of combos will keep each other in check. I really don't think that people will settle for the RNG of Portals or the like past the first few tries.Hopefully i'm wrong here..
Works well against aggro decks, expecially warriors
My first opponent actually ran Web Spinners. unbelievable...And true, there is no combo potential in this Brawl, so everybody runs individually good cards. So, what good cards beats most other good card is still in effect. (although here it is somewhat broken up by the 8 random cards)For example, i'd argue, that you could counter -Decks with -Decks (and some other face decks to boot)
Dark Peddler is also good for a zoo-ish style deck

Doomsayer hunter worked perfectly. It wasn't fun, and was slow and painful, but it gets the job done
I picked and got a in my opening hand.Kept the alive the entire match (10+ turns) and eventually won.So at least it's possible to get matches that don't end in an instant concede on turn two.
