Looking forward to this! Looks fun. Also the screenshots further fuel my love for the Kul'tiran architecture and mountainous zones we've seen so far
I'll be more than honored to participate in this impressive fiesta! :)
The idea of Kul Tirans being this multi-house and potentially very diverse culture gives me hope that "tall human with gut" will be one of many options for a customization-heavy race that mirrors the Mag'Har flexibility of concept. The "thicc" body would be best served as an option next to thinner and/or more "buff" options. Kul Tirans could scratch both the Vrykul itch and the "why does my erudite mage look like he could bench an anvil" concept, while providing the "thicker" option for those that want it."Tall human with gut" is not a sales pitch that stands up to the other allied races. "Mega flexibly customizable Vrykul-kin" is a sound offering for an "alternate human" subrace. In the likely scenario where every base race gets one offshoot allied race, Kul Tiran has to be done right if it's going to hold its own and have a unique appeal.
I like this!...
This looks great! I hope they'll have a Zandalar equivalent of quests like these! Or will this be multi faction? Anyway this reminds me of the Argent Tournament back in WotLK!
Why you do this Blizz? I can't wait 6 more months to play it! I need it NOW!
Still horribly underwhelmed by these horses. Blizzard better have more armor for them in the works at the very least.... I hope this means these datamined models are NPCs, and the real mounts are still in the works.Horde appears to be getting various gold-plated, exotic, prehistoric beasts, and we appear to be getting the same horse 10x with vague color variations with copy/pasted saddles from other models (which do not even sit properly), nor any armor to speak of. It does not feel very cool.I would very much appreciate some variation. Maybe different breeds. At least give the donkey real donkey ears and real donkey doe eyes, and fix the "zhevra" that is really just a clydesdale splattered in paint. If Blizzard is hooked on the pastoral theme, could we perhaps get LONGHORNS? That would be so, so cool. Or, holy *!@#, give me a LLAMA. I would go nuts.
100% stolen from Lord of the Rings they had this equestrian quest in their game since the beginning, as part of the learning to ride chain.
Kul Tiras reminds me of Grizzly Hills with the colors.Really wish Blizzard would fix the new horses. The girth is constantly in the wrong spot and this has been true since the beginning. It should be just behind the elbow, not just before the knee. Any saddle put on with the girth that far down the horse's chest would slip and you'd be under the horse getting kicked. Then the bridle on one model wouldn't even stay on if the horse opened its mouth. Then why do all of the horses look constantly pissed? They look like they want to eat you. Anduin's horse doesn't look pissed so why do the other new ones do?While I do find the horse show interesting, begs the question if the one who designed it even watched a stadium jumping competition to see how jumps are setup. There looks to be no real path on the course so seems you can just run it however you like which isn't how a real jumping competition is done. Blizzard could have done some kind of light path showing the general route you should take. Throwing in spearing, etc things shouldn't change that the course should be run in a particular way.
Yall with the LOTR accusations, I swear... Gee, it's almost like horse shows exist in real life and can be used as inspiration by multiple artists independently... 🤔🤔🤔
Tolkien actually invented horses, it's a pretty well known fact.
This should b labeld as spoiler.
That 708458 picture... looks like Reinhardt and Brigitte sitting on steps. XD
Shame there isn't any proper equestrian stuff in it. Would have loved to see a proper show jumping or cross country course.
Does anyone else notice that the "fifteenth annual" part matches WoWs release year? They could have tossed out any random number, but they self-referenced WoW's release year...
First Void Elves now this.... Blizz really wants me to roll ally. Also for some reason this places makes me have a sense of nostalgia from the wonder of my early wow days.
