Mage spell to be added in cataclysm.

This will be similar to bloodlust, it was pretty much added so you can have a choice for 'mandatory' additions to raids, instead of needing shamans.

I was hoping that Blizzard will have the idea of making this a more unique spell, not another "copy/paste" thing like they do with the items and some other stuff. Mages are masters of magic, able to control the very fabric of time and space etc... mage spells should feel more "mage-like" (same goes for the spells and abilities of other classes). Okay this is my very first post here so I kind screwed it up, in short - give us more eye candy!

I'd like to point out that as of this moment, the hunter's core hound pet ability Ancient Hysteria does NOT say that it exhausts Heroism.... if this holds, which I doubt it will... you could potentially get this basic buff twice with a core hound and Shammy combo.

The spell's duration is the same length of time that it takes to actually explain the steps in the Time Warp.

I'll be using this macro every single time I have used the Time Warp. It makes you sing the text with appropriate delays.

/in 1 /s Just a jump to the left
/in 4 /s Then a step to the right
/in 7 /s Put your hands on your hips
/in 10 /s Bring your knees in tight
/in 13 /s But it's the pelvic thrust
/in 16 /s That really drives you insane
/in 21 /s Let's do the time-warp again

Edit: Ok, I'm not really that into how this stuff works, but, this macro only works for me when I am using the AtlasLoot addon. I guess the /in command isn't an original Blizzard macro command, but one that is in the AtlasLoot addon somewhere.

Blizzard's attempt to have different classes have similar buffs, in the same way of Mark of the Wild and Blessing of Kings. In this way, it allows groups to be able to play at full capacity without having every single type of class and acts as a way to reduce and control the amount of buffs on the raid/party.

Useful macro for anyone who, like me, tends to missclick things and waste cooldowns out of combat. The macro casts Time Warp if you are in combat, otherwise it does nothing. Your raid will like you for it (or at least hate you less!)

Been reading about this spell since it appeared. This seems to be a useless buff unless you do raids. I do random dungeons and I don't know how this would be an advantage since it cancels other players similar spells, adding to the usual chaos of pugs. Would someone stop dancing long enough to give an opinion when to use it?

If there is another mage or a shaman in your random dungeon, you may have to talk to them(*gasp*) and coordinate who uses their haste ability and when. If you're the only one, just use it on the hardest boss.

I am a Mage(90) who gets kicked from the Raids, because I use the Time Wrap... what does it do to other players.

As of Dragonflight prepatch. Apparently Time Warp does not occur cooldown on first cast if you have Temporal Warp talent chosen. Cooldown will occur on second cast when you have Temporal Displacement debuff.

It's not stated anywhere, i recommend blizzard add it in description.
