Based on how things have been, we’ll get Avoloren with a new playable race like the pandas since this will be Pandaria 2.0. Avoloren will be a new 3 zone island. Next major patch we find a tunnel underground and explore Khaz Algar and third and last patch will be a quick black empire thing crammed with all of the above. Call me crazy but haven’t we had content in the last couple expansions that should have been flushed out as a whole expansion? Emerald dream, Argus, etc.Seems like a lot crammed into each expansion to get to Azeroth’s big unveil which means wow 2 or we are playing out game of thrones season 7-8.
I'm very nervous about how this Expansion reveal is going to go... I just think we've already dragged out the void story for SOOO long without anything coming of it. How many sideshow villains are there going to be talking about "what is to come". Please for the love of god let what is going to "come" COME already
I want a world revamp but it’ll probably be another nulore place nobody not glued to wowhead/i influencers has heard of like Avalorn.I doubt Amirdrassil will be put in Azeroth. They’ll shove it in the dragon isles and forget it even existed.
A lot of these do not convince me.Anything old god is not an addon. It can be part of it but it will never be the main theme. For a main theme blizzard has always chosen something adventurous and fun. At least in their view. Timetravel was done and failed in wod. I don't think we will see anything like this again. The problem being time travel convolutes a story and the player is at risk of just losing track of the narrative. Honestly I think pirates was a good guess but I also believe that if they denied that, then it's very unlikely that it is pirates.Titans I could see together with another fun race. At this point I think we also have to take into account a couple of real life factors. Blizzard is cutting down cost and appealing to nostalgia. They need fun things to get people to play the game and buy microtransactions.I think they might do a part 2 of a previous addon. Like wotlk legion. I don't think they will overhaul any content, just expand on the theme. There will also be some kind of craftable legendary. Our some expensive craft you absolutely need. Just because they sell a lot of tokens that way. We can probably expect 4 areas. I can't see class at all. After evoker that's probably obvious. I can see a new race, especially for evoker. But that could be anything that breathes fire. The one thing that they really could do, and this would drive a lot of people mad, but it's housing. I can only suspect what money eso makes with housing, but I guess that's a third of their income. It would be a lot of work because that's a new system.And since they want to save money I think that's unlikely Naga is of the table btw. They have scales, they were in bfa, they are not fun.
Stormforged, Titanforged or something such is my guess. It's gonna be a barren, nature and titan themed expansion after all. And then we go underground in 11.2 to confront Iridikron who intends to infuse Azeroth or something else deep down there with bad mojo to finish the plotline.Or if you really need a good name then World of Warcraft: The Land Down Under, if we look at the leaked pictures so far assuming they're the real deal.And in 12.0 we'll have our Darkness and the Light themed expansion were Illidan comes back to warn us about the red star is that is getting closer and closer. And so with the help of the Lightforge ships we fast travel to the nearest place and settle the score with this Void Monstrosity that is after the last Bastion of the Comsos, namely Azeroth itself. The titans will obviously come to help in the last minute and sacrifice themselves to restore Order. And after that WoW goes evergreen. Maybe it'll turn into a Stargate themed game where you get to visit all the places we've been to so far to either fix or confront existing problems and so we'll have branching storypaths kinda like how one MMO already does it. Maybe we go into the future at some point which is cyberpunk themed although that's kinda far fetched because that's what I have in mind for my own game/book.
i really hope we finally get Druids, Shamans and Paladins for everyone! Blizz did say they wanted to do it and they made it till after the Warlock.Maybe we also get a new race or two..Hozen.Jinyu? Ogers? who knows :D just so exited
