LF1M High ilvl Front-End Web Developer! Salary for this position will be $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually.Roles and ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll be doing:

Work closely with the Wowhead team, especially the site development team and our designer when implementing and improving tools, pages, and interface components.

Implement functional tools, pages, and interface components based on designer mockups with an eye for detail, user experience, and accessibility.

Revamp existing tools, pages, and interface components based on designer mockups.

Iterate on UI/UX as new challenges are encountered during implementation.

Improve the overall experience for users when they interact with the site and any related applications though UX and UI.

Ensure that new and existing functionality is fully responsive at all screen sizes.

Ensure that new and existing functionality meets modern SEO standards, and implement improvements based on recommendations from SEO consultants.

Write great inline documentation in code, and participate in code reviews to improve coding standards and performance.

Qualifications and AchievementsWhat you bring to the team:

Advanced experience with and enthusiasm for World of Warcraft, Diablo IV, and similar games.

Proven experience in modern front end web development and deployment.

Comfortable working fully remotely.

Ability to transform mockups/wireframes and high-level designs into semantic, accessible front end interfaces of complex web apps.

Understanding of analytics and SEO practices.

Advanced experience with:

JavaScript

Complex systems/frameworks

HTML, CSS, and design

Experience with:

Version control, specifically Git

Web service integration

CLI tools

Bonuses to consider:

Experience working on game community tools or data.

Experience working with game data/code from WoW or Diablo.

Experience creating complex tools for users with clear UI/UX.

Experience with content management systems or JavaScript frameworks, though both are fully custom on Wowhead.

Experience styling with the SCSS (a.k.a. “Sass”) preprocessing language, though experience with “Less” is also notable.

These qualifications match mine very well and this has always been a dream job of mine, so I will apply regardless of my feelings of the fact there is no salary range posted which is legally required in some states of the US. I suppose since this isn't specifically posted in a particular state it may be a legal grey area, but personally I make a lot of money at a job that I don't enjoy as much as I probably would working at Wowhead--I would be willing to take a certain pay cut, but I live in California and it will end up being a huge waste of my time to apply and find out that I will not be able to afford to live if I take the job.Comment by VynillinRiddiculous that they don't list specifics about compensation.

Salary for this position will be $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 annually.
