Yes, it was worth doing. Or else they wouldn't keep doing it. They did heroic reclears and mythic reclears. And they are still wearing week 1 split gear. Sorry dude.Comment by Draeken

Did you watch any of the race? Did you see Liquids smolderon kill? They killed it after the enrage, with only the tank alive.

They needed the gear. Period.

You're making a foolish argument that basically says "You shouldn't prepare for anything because you don't know if you needed to prepare until afterwards.

History has shown after every single raid other than Abberus that it was worth doing. It's math.

I'm just here pointing out that in week 2, and especially if we do go to a 3rd week, that the splits become less and less relevant

Bit anticlimactic for it to be deleted by Liquid just because of the gear upgrade they got from vault & reclear. Not only is it unfair to Echo, it's also a shame for Liquid, because as brilliant and skilled as they are, some people will still invalidate their efforts of learning and practicing the boss to being down to gear alone. They deserve a chance to prove undeniably that their victories aren't down just to time difference. Outside of global release, I really can't think of a solution either. Bro Tindral was a pure mechanical fight, gear didn't trivialize it all. It was still a super close kill and they had a lot of sub 10% pulls for hours before the kill, 435 pulls of practice weren't for nothing. Liquid absolutely deserved that wf because they were ahead during the entire progression, time difference had nothing to do on this boss.Comment by Schattensang

It was absolutely a deserved kill, but it's never going to be perceived that way by the entire community. There's always going to be a question mark hanging above the entire race. What if one of the teams wasn't forced to play from behind?
