I must admit that speculation on murozond, old gods, ashara and naga, titan civil war, and khaz algar got me way more hyped than anything to do with avaloren and pirates. I really really hope this blizzcon won't be pirates because it will fall completely flat for me with all this other awesome stuff going on. The mentioned things also ties in way better with where the story has gone so far, rather than just "hey new land totally disconnected from anything that has been happening enjoy, also yarggh"Comment by LostsinclairOne week from tomorrow until Blizzcon. Naga's Prophecy: You might have missed the line with "A hunger lost to the ages will be reclaimed." referring directly to the reclaimed essence of Galakrond. I mean sure, we got rid of that artifact together with Chromie when fighting Iridikron, but then Chromie turned back time and rescued Nozdormu instead, so in the timeline we are in now Iridikron managed to reclaim that hunger.

For the 12 month subscription, the rewards just straight up include the current 6 month subscription. That's why we have the that pet and fish mount. Not sure if we should read too much into it, when Blizzard got lazy and didn't only recoloured a past ground mount for this promotion, instead of giving us an actual water themed mount with a swim speed.

Also a thing to mention: Blizzard specifically stated they wanted to have an overarching story for more than one expansion. And I honesly can't see Iridikron going to some far away island, when he is so bound to the earth by his very being.Comment by DwellingerDwarves. Void nonsense, storms, underground, old gods... there's so many directions to turn and I still don't know which way were going.Comment by SoeroahI'd absolutely love an expansion more heavily focused on time travel/timelines and the Infinite, but the Blizzcon map has a feature called "Corridors of Time" - I think those Blizzcon decor photos are just of the props that'll be used for that part of the show floor, and I suspect it's as simple as a way to visually separate Retail booths from Classic.
